I did it once back when streaming wasn't a thing. Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex was what I bought. Probably my best anime purchase. Buying things blind isn't something I normally do since I don't want to take the risk.

tl;dr Is it worth having separate sub-forums for general anime and manga discussion? I get the impression that the manga sub-forum is dead these days and would maybe benefit with being merged with the anime sub-forum. Also, why are news and industry separate sub-forums? Surely all anime/manga...

The choices near the start don't even matter (except for when you meet Ilya/Berserker). You're locked onto the Fate route on your first read no matter what you pick.

Honestly, you could skip right to the Archer vs Lancer fight and miss nothing.

To be honest, I went back to Fate/Stay Night a while back and it was hard to get through. I'm not sure if the writing is bad or the translation is bad, but a lot of the writing and dialogue makes me cringe. I gave up after a few hours. I can't blame you for not liking it. I think Nasu's writing...

I honestly don't think Smash Bros is suitable for a handheld. The 3DS is awkward enough to hold as it is, but trying to play a fighting game on it is tough.
