Considering the 1st is on a Sunday it depends when I personally wake up lol. But I imagine it'll be up sometime in the morning.

Just as a heads up, rather than releasing each week, on Monday we'll be releasing the other titles mentioned up for sale and these will remain at EB price for the month.

UK Anime Distributor Crunchyroll/Funimation/Manga UK Discussion Thread

There was an email sent to retailers stating the issue and stock was recalled so they are aware of it and in the process of amending the fault. Some retailers like ourselves, may just be keeping it live to take back orders whilst informing the customer at the time of ordering. It may take a few...

No plans but would be slim all the same. Looks like Crunchyroll have the license for this.

This goes for any older anime, not just the ones you've mentioned but would be A) the license would be available for UK rights, B) the series has been released on Blu-Ray. If it's available only on DVD they just don't sell as well bar the odd exceptions (Trigun for example).

Used to love watching Willy Fog and Cities of Gold - another 80s show I used to enjoy that used to be on was Belle and Sebastian. But in terms of earlier/older anime it can be hit and miss. As someone mentioned regarding our Patlabor OVAs - the franchise pretty well known, but the second one...

Unfortunately price increases in just about everything is the main reason. The SRP for the US version is $70 alone. Sadly this will be affecting future releases going forward.

Sadly no plans for the movie at this point. Movie titles are also always more expensive to license as well.

It's possible. We'd certainly like to get Nise and Neko Black available again. There's also a possibility of a Final Season boxset similar to our 2nd season boxset we did, but again it's waiting on responses.

I believe we did look into this a while back but it seems there hasn't been a western release on BD (if I'm wrong please feel free to correct). I see there was a Spanish edition back in 2022, so why it didn't get released in the US is unknown. Possible a rights issue/expired license and hasn't...

If it's a collector's edition, it'll be mentioned in the title listing. If there's both collector and standard available on the site, it'll be listed as "collector's edition" and "standard edition" respectively. If there's no collector's edition, or in this case it isn't available for general...

I don't think any retailers had any of the initial stock - I think the disc error was noticed before it was shipped out to everyone else, which I had assumed was the reason behind it being pushed back a few weeks.
