They probably went with that one since the 2017 konosuba VN has limited voice acting, with there being long segments without any voice acting. I think the 2017 one is better written though.
From what people have been talking about it seem to likely be discs using the old masters sentai used for their first releases, which people seem to complain about. The new release Sentai released in 2019 which uses 3 disc each season is considered way better, so it is likely going to be...
what are the problems with the discs mangauk will use for K-on? How does it for instance compare to the Sentai ultimate collection? Want to figure out which to buy.
Sad if that is the truth, don't like the Australian blu rays having the large ass age rating thing and it is more convenient for me to buy uk releases than Australian ones.
Wonder what will happen with non Funimation releases from Manga uk, I would like them to continue with Jojo for instance. Would be sad if they can only do Funi releases from now on.
Nice to see them releasing clannad, but really would wish for some more jojo, and it would also be really nice if they did a release for Nichijou. Not a fan of the Australian age rating logo so would prefere uk release over importing from Australia.
As for non sequal anime I think this has been a pretty bad year. While there have been some good new anime there are non that really blew me away. As far as the best new stuff (not counting sequals) I would probably say Eizouken, Ishuzoku Reviewers and Kakushigoto are the ones I though were best...
Personally I don't see a point in having a physical copy that doesn't atleast look decent. I buy blu-rays of anime I really like and I intend to rewatch them on the blu-ray I don't want to have to look other places to find decent way to watch it if I have a physical copy.
