They probably went with that one since the 2017 konosuba VN has limited voice acting, with there being long segments without any voice acting. I think the 2017 one is better written though.

As far as the best new stuff (not counting sequals) I would probably say Eizouken, Ishuzoku Reviewers and Kakushigoto are the ones I though were best...

Just watched the 2 first movies of LOTR in 4k today and thought it looked amazing.

Hope the end product will end up looking good, Violet Evergarden is a visual treat and it would be sad if the blu-ray doesn't do it justice.

Personally I don't see a point in having a physical copy that doesn't atleast look decent. I buy blu-rays of anime I really like and I intend to rewatch them on the blu-ray I don't want to have to look other places to find decent way to watch it if I have a physical copy.
