AL FR or Discotek? The former's release has a lot of colour banding.

The changes mentioned were dialogue, as well as the signs and text being translated (it's set in Italy, so they're now all subbed).

The JP BD has some banding, as it was baked into the source, but it's at a tolerable level. Never too distracting. However, FUNi's BD (which the UK is a clone of) is atrocious. The settings were bad on the encoding level, I guess. The brightness is higher (thus making banding more visible), and...

The 4K UHD is exclusive to Bandai Visual Club, which doesn't ship outside Japan, so you'll need a proxy service to get it. It has English subs.

Brightness issue doesn’t bother me, and the tiniest bit of banding isn’t too bad, but when it’s Re:Zero levels of bad, it’s worth complaining about.

Sure! I'd be willing to, but only if people wanted one. Not every release... just pretty much everything by FUNi. But, it's a forum about Blu-rays, so expect comments about the quality of releases. That's kind of the point of it, right? But, I will say this- if I bought every new release like...

I don’t normally get worked up over this sort of stuff, but this was a rare instance when I did. I’m not mentally insane, but I like professionalism from companies. AL is one to actually respond and change stuff, so thus why I kindly corrected them.

I was rather polite, but in reference to their pages being cut-and-paste, I expressed it in a less sophisticated manner.
