How is the Gundam movie trilogy anyone? I have the Bandai dvds from ages ago and was tempted, but then I missed the pre-order price and was narked that it went up so much, then i had to move house, then I lost access to my blu ray player, but.... I still wants it!

Don't forget to add the 20% VAT to the US prices to get the equivalent UK price. US Sales tax isn't included in the price (and isn't usually applied online) but you can get the equivalent retail/RRP to decide whether it's the equivalent

Mvm did release the very first Patlabor so it wasn't entirely pointless. Their second release was a bit odd - not just a sequel to Patlabor on TV but basically the old laserdisc bonus episodes... But you can get started with Patlabor by buying the first blu Ray and I recommend it! Sedaka or no...

I've been getting the kindle versions of Vinland and it's great! I suspect it's just a bit expensive in this format for the fans who've already read it. I thought the U.S. blu of Champloo was meant to have a bad upscale picture? That's why I'd didn't even look at the mvm release, plus double...

The UK and Aus versions of Princess Mononoke don't have the subtitle/dubtitle issue that the Americans have been complaining about, do they? Bought it, left it at the in-laws unplayed and won't pick it up until Xmas....

Plus, as Michiko has been effectively region free since its US release, they probably know that a portion of the market for the bluray may already have picked it up. :( A shame.

Got home and got my GL parcel. Glue still tacky so fixed the packaging. Watched a bit of the movie... Stunning quality. Can't wait! When you point out that it's just 22 seconds of the whole thing it really does put it into perspective. Lovely release, when all is said and done.
