I honestly think we're really lucky to get UK releases of the 80s Gundams and things like Cyber City Oedo or Nadia Secret of Blue Wter. I've picked up the US releases of things like Galaxy Express 999, Patlabor and Dunbine (but Ideon still evades me) because I'd never expect a release in this...
From the first ten minutes it feels right. The original is pretty camp, and silly. Cho clearly can’t do martial arts and seems a little slow but otherwise I’m down,
I don't know why I thought this, so do slap me, but I just assumed that at some point the bog-standard Eva set would come up in the weekly deals as a pre-order with more than the current ten quid discount. Now I know they don't need to do this but it's their normal pattern, isn't it? and yes I...
Once upon a time i'd have been all over an Eva SE but now I just want them to follow that with a normal edition, like they just did with Gundam Seed. I just want the shows and maybe a slipcase to keep the blurays in.
So before I watch Hathaway I thought I'd re-watch some of the things it refers to. Char's Counterattack is the main one as far as I know, but without spoilers, can you tell me if I need to refresh my memory of Unicorn or actually watch Narrative (or any others)?
Damn them! they've given me what I wanted - Seed in the normal collectors box and at a decent price.... except it's months too soon! I have bills bills and bills (and I'll have to get the membership when I get Seed as I've been waiting to bite the bullet). Damn them... (clicks preorder)
Tempted by the deal on Kino’s journey but I haven’t bought anime on dvd in ages because the subtitles always look ****. Is it my blu ray player that is at fault or is that just the way they all are, and I never noticed before I had a big hd tv?
Asadora! volume 1 by Naoki Urasawa - his current series and strangely adorable. Set across multiple time periods again I really enjoyed it, and wanted to get in on the ground level as it comes out from Viz. I tried that with 20th Century Boys of course, and lost track in the middle and now I...
The original Gatchaman (but not 2 or F) seems to have been removed as well. But then some things were never on the iPad app (Dunbine) that you could view on their website so who knows... I should cancel Hidive...
back When mvm Released these individually (box with disc one?) I picked up the uncut Australian release of the affected disc. It bugged me that the logos didn’t quite match but having a cut version would bug me more.
What's different about the NT Theatrical version? Haven't opened mine yet but I assume it can't be extended or tweaked version of the movie or the dub wouldn't fit?

It denotes some kind of universality because Tomino was planning this as more than just another letter-based Gundam sequel but an incorporation of what had gone before.
Browsing the sale while I wait for Planetes and looking for the Gurrenn Lagann movies... and I have a question that I'm sure you guys will be able to answer quickly:
Is the version of Perfect Blue I got when AL first released it a different and inferior version to the special edition? Is there...
