If they did release a standard edition why isn't it listed on their website, Anime On Line, Zavvi, HMV or rarewaves. Its listed on Amazon as currently unavailable and has never had a price history. Kinda strange unless it went OOP in a year since blu ray website claims it came out in April 2022...
I would love to as well but to my knowledge they have stopped putting the age rating stickers on the slipcovers and instead started putting them on the shrink wrap so if you get one with them still on its more than likely older stock that still had it on. I have gotten a couple new ones that...
AL inconsistency is strange because sometimes they will have Scanavo and sometimes Amary, then sometimes the Amarys have standard edition artwork and sometime they don't. I guessing they use Scanavo for ones where they can get some complete artwork like in Lupin the firsts case. The same goes...
I understand now, yeah thats fine I can whip one up for you one of these days. I also hate when they flip the title to be the other way around, it makes no sense and looks out of place because literally no one else does it. Kinda like MVM putting the BBFC logo at the top of the spine instead of...
Crunchyroll continues to disappoint with these lackluster months, £40+ for a 12 episode series is was too much especially with no slipcover or digital copy. Maybe I am just stingy but I would pay £20-25 for a 12 episode series, £40+ for a collectors edition. Can we just go back to that one month...
Thanks! I see we share similar opinions on the state of UK cover designs. I had a quick look at MVM's release of Serial Experiments Lain cover (I don't own it myself) and while I could give it a shot it might be harder to do due to them using an image for the background that doesn't have a...
As promised Konosuba Season 1 was finished in about a couple of months, with the long strech on time between covers I acquired Golden Kamuy Season 1-3 on blu ray and man did they mess up the spines on that, age rating logo isn't even lined up properly between the two season, just pure lazyness...
Few new additions to the collection.
Firstly we have the last of the Universal Anime Blu Rays that I needed to collect. Such a shame that we didn't get anymore of these but ad least we got these because they are super nice.
Secondly we have a couple more CE from AL and Funi. Always wanted to...
Seeing all of this makes me wish that Manga stayed independent and there wasn't any Funimation exclusive license and Manga, MVM and AL could just license what ever Anime they wanted which I feel would lead to getting so much more content over here but such things are just not meant to be.
The history isn't there when they have remove all traces of it, The history is the Madman name and branding and they have just got rid of all of that. There isn't any about section anywhere saying "Crunchyroll aus comes from Madman who severed as the biggest Anime distrubtor for Australia" or...
Completely disagree with this take, Madman/Madman Anime have been around for 27 years and have been the main distributor for Anime and Manga content in Australia and New Zealand. They also made AnimeLab which was the biggest Anime streaming service in Australia and New Zealand, which was so big...
For anyone who likes their slipcovers, some of Mangas Blu Rays are now popping up without the slipcovers on product images on Amazon. None of them have their old slipcover product images anymore either. Here are a couple of examples:
Whats interesting is they updated the BBFC logos for Code...
War and Peace (1965) This goliath of a film is probably the one of if not the greatest epic of all time. I don't think we will ever see a film on this scale ever again. If you don't enjoy long films I wouldn't recommend it but if your like me and enjoy longer films its worth the watch just for...
Thank you. After some research I found it to be mostly Inkjet Paper used but I cannot be 100% on this since I have never printed on it. I would say if you want it to be similar to a real blu ray cover any gloss based paper should do the trick.
