I think this show is too similar to Horimya and the side-characters sort of blend together so you're not sure at first which ones are from which show. I've put this on hold for now because I prefer the other one, then I can just watch it at the end of the season when there's not much on for a...
Is it a frequent issue that the Funimation app (FireTV in this case) defaults to Portuguese subs? This is the second time I'm getting it on multiple shows and they only list English as optional languages anyway?
Keep an eye out on Humble Bundle because they pop up on there every now and then. I checked and there's none currently but its something to consider
I'm in agreement on that point but I'd actually enjoy discussing the accuracy of subs and dubs in a separate topic. If you go into these things with the understanding that its all opinion then you tend to come out with the realisation that while some people might disagree with you, their opinion...
I've put Higurashi on hold for now as I feel like I probably need to see the original first, but I noticed its not available for UK streaming but do we know who currently holds the licence? I was thinking that if its manga then it'll probably turn up on Funimation at some point
You're the first person I've seen actually praise this season. It's all subjective I know but if I was to re-watch the series I'd pretend the entire Alicization arc did happen
Looking over that am I right that any new seasonal releases are sub and maybe dub, and back catalogue is dub only if there's no BD release when its added? I don't mind dub for some shows to be honest - its just that some things get lost in translation when they drop the honorifics and cultural...
I was browsing over the FunimationNow catalogue and some of the titles available on Crunchyroll which are also on Funi are only available in English (so like Shield Hero/Golden Kamyu/Quintessential Quintuplets). I wasn't signed in using an account so it may have restricted my language options...
So Crunchyroll is doing my head in now and I was thinking of switching back to Funimation. I've not used it since 2016 so I was wondering if the PS4 app is actually usable these days and does it buffer as much as it used to?
I've seen that before with other apps where the settings were cached locally and not updated, so clearing the cache made it go away and get the latest config you set in the browser. Netflix does the same and Teams is a pain in the arse for it
