Just out of curiosity, do you know if the titles will be available on ITVX as dub only, just like when select titles were on All4, or will they include the subtitled versions too?

I noticed amongst the titles that Gunbuster will be streamed. Does this mean that a potential home video release of Gunbuster would be coming soon!?

I don't reckon they will, considering the discs are the exact same content-wise as Aniplex of Japan's release (in other words, MVM pretty much used Aniplex of Japan's discs for their release).

Even the old Funimation and, in the case of the second film, NTV logos are on the covers.

Thanks. I'll consider importing the US release of Collection 24, when I get around to purchasing it. I would also have to import the US releases from Collection 26 onwards if I want the Blu-ray versions.

For those who collect the US releases of One Piece, either the US collections or the Voyage (Season) sets, does the US release of Collection 24 (or Season 10 Voyage 1) have the same issue as the UK release of Collection 24 where disc 3 (or Disc 1 of Voyage 1) have subtitles in a deep red font...

They did state that the final page count is TBC, but it will be at least 48 pages, so who knows, maybe there could be more than that on the final product, depending on what they're allowed to use.

It seems that the omakes are stuck in licensing hell (according to SpaceDandy on the Blu-ray(dot)com forums), which is why they're excluded from the GKIDS release, so I wouldn't count on them being included if the UK release was done in-house.

If I'm correct, the Japanese Blu-ray release omits Duran Duran's "Girls on Film".

That's not always the case, considering that Paranoia Agent and Haibane Renmei didn't have CEs in the US (the former had a steelbook, while the latter was a standard edition only release), and neither title has any Blu-ray release in Australia (the DVD releases are out of print).

Regarding Jujutsu Kaisen Part 1 (which I've received not long ago), I wonder who authored the discs, as it appears that the Crunchyroll subtitles were used for the release, right down to the typeface used for Crunchyroll's streaming. The subtitles are soft coded, but are locked during playback...

Probably neither of them. The Season 1 Collector's Edition sold poorly for Anime Limited, so I doubt Season 2 or either of the two movies will see a UK home video release.

If the Funimation discs were used for Air (I could be wrong though), it wouldn't be that easy to fix the discs, unless MVM re-authors the discs from scratch, which may not be financially feasible.
