Thanks, but knowing myself, if I were to get the series, I'll probably get the movie for completionists sake.
And judging by your comment, I'm guessing you didn't like the series?
I've been meaning to update the thread for a long time. I'm planning on changing the format a bit, and it will be updated soon. It could take me a while, but I'll get there.
Regarding One Piece Film: Gold, did they use the Funimation US discs, compared to Adventures in Alabasta, Z and Stampede, which were authored locally?
And if I remember correctly, Strong World used Madman's port of the Funimation US discs (the main difference in extras being that the Funimation...
Thanks for clarifying that for me. Seeing as it's unlikely to ever get fixed, I'll definitely have to get the US release of that one, as people already confirmed to me that the US Disc 3 don't have the red subtitles issue.
I just had a thought in my head. There has been instances where disc issues only occurred on the review discs, while the retail copies had them fixed. To those who own the UK release of One Piece Collection 24, can anyone confirm to me if disc 3 has the deep red subtitles in the retail copies...
Combatants Will Be Dispatched! - Uncut
No overall description, but the reason for the 18 rating was for the final episode alone (the other episodes were given 15 ratings), and the description for that one is "sexual threat, references to ".
No worries. In my previous message, I was nearly going to say it was Hello World myself in regards to the Japan Foundation 2020 line-up, until I remembered it was part of the 2021 online line-up (due to the lockdown), and the 2020 touring line-up had Ride Your Wave.
While The Relative Worlds appeared on Screen Anime in 2021, it didn't appear on the Japan Foundation 2020 programme. That would be Ride Your Wave. The Relative Worlds did however appear on Scotland Loves Anime 2019.
I personally quite liked the film when I saw it on Screen Anime. I wouldn't consider it one of the greatest films ever made, but it's nowhere near bad for me.
This was screened as part of Scotland Loves Anime, and was one of the films that appeared on the short lived Screen Anime service.
I'm guessing the reason for the pricing is due to it being a combo pack, or it could be due to licensor's request.
There's two possible reasons why it's subtitle only despite a dub existing (and these are just pure guesses from my end). It could be that Madman are using more-or-less the same masters as the Aniplex of America release, which was subtitle only, or Aniplex wouldn't allow Madman to include the...
Regarding SSSS.Gridman, I don't know if we should blame Funiroll US for the audio issue (seeing as the UK release used the US masters), or if it was down to Tsuburaya (the licensor), who could've disallowed the 5.1 Japanese track to be available in the English friendly release to prevent reverse...
It seems that To Be Hero & To Be Heroine will be limited to 2000 copies, rather than 1500.
Also, The Princess and the Pilot will be limited to 1500 copies.
Both were confirmed on Discotek's Instagram and on the RightStuf listings.
