UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

I think The Rose of Versailles is more likely than Dear Brother, due to the limited license Discotek had for the latter (I can't find it listed on the Crunchyroll store, but Amazon still has copies readily available), but one can dream, can they?

UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

I decided to ask Anime Limited on Twitter regarding the news of the upcoming 12 Days of Christmas sales, and they said that they'll be revealing it early next week.

UK Anime Distributor Crunchyroll/Funimation/Manga UK Discussion Thread

I recently made a purchase on the Crunchyroll store the Friday just gone (I bought the BDs of Space Sheriff Shaider and Kamen Rider V3), and I used PayPal without issues.

It seems that there's a printing error with the complete collection of My Hero Academia Season 5. One person bought it on Amazon, and gave this review 3 days ago (I censored the name due to privacy reasons).

    Anime at the cinema

I should've said this sooner, but my local arts centre is screening Detective Conan: The Million-dollar Pentagram tomorrow, with a relaxed screening on Saturday, just over a month after screenings elsewhere.

    What did you BUY today?

This might not be the right thread to post this, but this is my haul from my trip to Glasgow for Scotland Loves Anime (photos were taken last night, and are on my Twitter, Bluesky, Instagram and Threads accounts), consisting of a fridge magnet from a souvenir shop (I can't remember the name)...

What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

I tried that a few times, to no avail. The edges of the hubs felt almost solid compared to previous releases. Only the top of the hubs felt squidgy.

Yet the hubs on those ones were more circular and easier to get the discs out and to put back in. The Macross Plus hubs were more triangular and more difficult to get the discs out of and to put back in (I was scared I was going to break my OVA disc when trying to put it back in).

What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

A hard box. But I'll have to say though, at first, the discs can be difficult to get out, and even more of a nightmare to put back in (I had the most trouble with the OVA disc). Not wanting to risk breaking my discs, I put my two discs in an empty BD case.

What did you RECEIVE today? PHOTOS EDITION!

Macross Plus Ultimate Edition BD from All the Anime.

UK Anime Distributor Anime Limited Discussion Thread

While I haven't received a dispatch notice from AL, I received an e-mail from FedEx containing tracking information (I've confirmed legitimacy before clicking any links), and based on the shipper's address, I'm assuming that my Macross Plus Ultimate Edition has been dispatched (the website still...

    Anime at the cinema

Quite a considerable amount of screenings of Look Back at my local Odeon in Colchester. All daytime screenings. But I'm probably going to wait until the SLA Glasgow screening.

SCOTLAND LOVES ANIME FESTIVAL CELEBRATES 15TH ANNIVERSARY WITH LONDON EXPANSION

In regards to Lupin III, thanks. Although I'll probably at least check out Part 1. As for the meal arrangements, last time round, on days when three films were shown, I had dinner at lunchtime, and a packet of crisps and a chocolate bar between the first and second films (I save the popcorn for...

SCOTLAND LOVES ANIME FESTIVAL CELEBRATES 15TH ANNIVERSARY WITH LONDON EXPANSION

Thanks. Last year, even though the film was an alternate version, I checked out the series version of Galaxy Express 999 to familiarise myself with the characters (I bought the Discotek BDs from RightStuf (vols 1 and 2, just before their closure) and United Publications (vol 3, just before they...

SCOTLAND LOVES ANIME FESTIVAL CELEBRATES 15TH ANNIVERSARY WITH LONDON EXPANSION

Truth be told, this would be the second SLA I've ever been to. The first was last year, also in Glasgow, and at first, I thought I was unable to watch every film in the Glasgow line-up due to timing (I had meals to consider) and, for certain titles, not checking out any connecting series/films...

SCOTLAND LOVES ANIME FESTIVAL CELEBRATES 15TH ANNIVERSARY WITH LONDON EXPANSION

No worries. Thanks. I'll keep an eye on the website for times and dates. Either way, I intend on seeing all the films they do have in Glasgow as I bought the weekend pass as soon as it became available (I was too eager).

Thanks. That will hopefully clear up some confusion.

Thanks. I'll do that, but how will I be able to ask Fetch, just out of curiosity?

SCOTLAND LOVES ANIME FESTIVAL CELEBRATES 15TH ANNIVERSARY WITH LONDON EXPANSION

Thanks for letting me know. Although the article still lists KuraYukaba for Friday in Glasgow, despite the website removing both that and KURAMERUKAGARI from the Glasgow list. I'm guessing this could be separate from the Weekend Pass?
