Anyone else thinking the first 1000 units AL ship are going to be testing the UK quality waters? Methinks potential delays on the "early 2022 units" to address the potential issues and alot of UEs turning up on eBay and the like for less discerning collectors.

No. It's CE, rather doubt it'll sell out unless they've dramatically underestimated the interest. On a related note I've never received a code from AL and I'm a newsletter subscriber and a unlimited member.

One of the first I ever saw was Violence Jack recorded by a friend along with Blue Sonnet back when SyFy was Sci-fi and they'd put Anime on at midnight. Not the best introduction to Anime as you can imagine.

Short answer: Not much. All the above have a Blu-ray release and none of them are rare or OOP. You'd be looking at a few pounds each, maybe £10 or so for the series collections if you're lucky. CEX, MusicMagpie etc are likely the only way you'll be able to sell them.
