I think that it gets it right-mostly. There are a few things I question and a few that don't make any sense but overall it's quite a satisfactory conclusion to the remake series.
I think you can count on fewer and fewer physical releases of new series (except in japan) by crappyroll and the Sony conglomerate. Streaming just doesn't cut it for me, it's too ephemeral-here today and gone tomorrow, literally. What to do? I'll leave that up to you-the reader's imagination...
I'm watching between 5-7 series this season but so far the standout for me has been Frieren-Beyond Journey's End, I watched Power Of Hope-Precure Full Bloom last night and liked it.
Last anime movie I saw was Psycho-Pass Providence, I'd never watched anything from that franchise before and promptly got seasons 1,2 and 3 plus Sinners Of The System. Needless to say I'm totally hooked on this series now-all I need is the original movie.
Last film I saw was Nolan's biopic Oppenheimer-it was a good watch but not anywhere near as exciting as Tennet. That's to be expected as they are 2 totally different genres.
Been watching way too much lately, started with The Dawn Of The Witch then Grimore Of Zero. Rewatched the 1st 2 seasons of Non Non Biyori-Renge is a total blast!
I watched To Every You I’ve Loved Before and To Me, The One Who Loved You back to back and quite enjoyed them, That Time I Got Reincarnated As a Slime The Movie: Scarlet Bond on the other hand was a complete sh*tfest. The Quintessential Quintuplets Movie was quite good but the only way to watch...
I've been watching a lot of anime movies at my nearby theater in the last few months but drew the line at the latest SAO movie and at $12 per movie........!! BTW-I hate anything Demon Slayer but the OST from the Demon's Souls game is fantastic.
It sucks here in my neck of the woods because I have to wait until early December to watch Evangelion-3.0+1.01, I watched the netflix version but it'll be fantastic on the big screen!!
I very rarely come here anymore because I have many other things to do but I've been on a Fairy Tail binge trying to watch the 18 sets I got a few years ago but never got around to watching. I normally hate shonen crap but this is the one series that I like.
Saw the first Macross Frontier movie at the nearby theater tonight and while it was a total blast I was less than impressed with the video quality As far as I could tell it looked like the bluray was simply projected on the screen from a hdd, it was so soft looking. It looks much better watching...
