Where to Buy Anime in the UK (was Anime Online Retailers)

A bit slow, no tracking - but good prices. However their packaging is the bare minimum, I wouldn't order Limited Editions or Steelbooks from them. Once I had a broken case, and they offered me just 10% discount.

The Q & A Thread (for questions that do not need a thread)

Possibly Dusk Maiden of Amnesia? But it's just the club president (not the student council) and she is . However they always make up excuses for her not attending the meetings.

But as the US laws don't prohibit placing the BBFC ratings on the discs, they could do this. But is this really a more cost efficient way? For medium print runs producing own discs & packaging in Poland might be cheaper than transporting stock from the US / Mexico.

    BBFC Passed Anime Updates

As mentioned before BBFC Passed Anime Updates Germany has, like the UK, some restrictions even for stuff to pass FSK 18. FSK 18 doesn't allow porn, extreme gore or glorification of violence. And thus, Redo of Healer Ep 2 was refused. Regarding Interspecies Reviewers in the US: Well, larger...

When did Funimation ever release a LE for a movie? Especially for one that is tied to an anime series? Regarding the lenticular cover variant: I wouldn't be surprised if this would get a store-exclusive release (e.g. HMV or Zavvi)

Honestly: doesn't have a Blu-ray anywere in the west - so unless you are going to import some japanese BD which sell for $150 used, there is no alternative right now The Japanese Blu-ray of are cursed - it's one of the worst anime Blu-rays ever. Afaik even the DVD looks way better. I would...

Thanks. The first title afaik was native HD, but never received an English friendly Blu-ray. The second has a Blu-ray in Japan, but with awfully low quality... Including a movie sounds unfair to me. I don't own #4, and #5, but may buy them seperately later...

Almost every "made for TV" or "made for VHS" dub in Europe was produced in PAL speed. Whilest conversion to 23,976 fps might result in a small quality drop, most likely nobody would notice unless it affects famous music pieces. Retiming these to Blu-ray masters is usually an easy job - well...

The Q & A Thread (for questions that do not need a thread)

The rights situation with this is kinda weird, cause Discotek, the US distributor, afaik had to sublicense it through the German rightsholder. The show is still streaming on Crunchyroll US (and most likely on Retrocrush US) too. German & French DVDs are easily available, but not...
