The Fruits Basket movie is in cinemas on Wed/Thurs, can I watch it without having seen the series? Or is it more an epilogue to the series? I do plan on watching the series but haven't got round to it yet.

Received from the AL Easter sale Surprised at how thick psycho pass is, it's the same thickness as the funi premium edition for season 1, which I house the funi sets of s1, s2 and movie
