Some of those file sizes are strange. The likes of Ape Escape and Wild Arms were single disc games (650MB max), so I wonder what's making the files so large.
Aho Girl is a definite buy for me. It's five years old at this point, so I'm surprised it's getting licensed now. Maybe the cost of licensing it dropped or it was bundled in with something else.
It's a shame that they didn't mention Gunbuster even for an update. I wonder if it's going to slip...
Digital Foundry give their verdict on the PS1 emulation on PS5. Brace yourselves; they're not impressed.

It appears to be a disaster for the PAL titles. On top of the...
I'm surprised to see that Blue Reflection Ray will be getting an English dub when it migrates from Funi to CR in June. As I understand it, Funi usually only give dubs to shows they're planning to release physically, but this one infamously had its JP blu-ray release cancelled for "various...
Kemono Michi: Rise Up
What is the isekai genre missing? If you think it's pro wrestling, pet shops and butts, Kemono Michi has you covered.
Isekai has been pretty stale for years, and it usually comes down to a few reasons: lazy worldbuilding, cliched RPG plots, and boring protagonists. This...
Hopefully, but US distributors are dragging their butts if that's the case. When the decades-long legal battle over the international rights to Ultraman was finally resolved, Mill Creek announced they'd licensed the whole catalogue almost immediately and started firing box sets out the door...
Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness
It's been almost a decade since Sam Raimi was last in the director's chair for a full-length movie. I'm happy to report that he's lost none of his quirkiness. The Marvel movie formula is such a monolithic thing at this point that it can often feel...
Hmm, looks like a 50Hz-fest is inevitable when the service hits the UK then. Disappointing, but not surprising. The tech is anachronistic at this point, but I imagine it has more to do with the terms of 25-year-old contracts tying particular versions of games to regional branches of companies.
Even for a launch lineup it's a surprisingly tiny selection, but features-wise the emulator looks like a massive improvement over PS3. I thought my wishlist of proper 4:3 and a CRT filter was pie-in-the-sky, but here it is along with rewind, save states and trophies. Now the main question is how...
Uncharted is one of a handful of super-popular franchises that I've never been able to get into. I did complete Uncharted 2 once, but it quickly bores me when I try to go back to it. I lost interest halfway through 3, and gave up on 1 and the Vita one pretty fast. It's the combat that kills...
Persona 5 Royal
I've had a long and troubled history with the Shin Megami Tensei franchise, stretching back over 20 years to when I imported Persona 2: Eternal Punishment (PS1). I loved the idea of the game, but that one was undone by a clunky interface that made battles about as enjoyable as...
New PV for Urusei Yatsura and confirmation that broadcast starts in October.
Doesn't give us a whole lot to go on, but what there is looks semi-promising. I'm not convinced by Ataru's new VA, but the new Lum sounds almost spookily like Hirano Fumi.
Interesting that they're giving Lum's hair...
That's tempting, though I'm really not interested in that huge storyboard book that will jack up international shipping.
Since many things about this release are mirroring the way Hathaway was handled, the main question is whether this movie will show up on Netflix too.
