It was a little surprise finding that. I didn't know what it was to start with.

How long has Golden Kamuy been delayed now? I hear it mentioned so much that ever time I see a release date I doubt it, and I've not even got it ordered.

I prefer CEs because normally steelbooks are merely just a case and nothing else, though they can look nice. It probably depends sometimes too on what the CE is like. Slime never got one in the UK annoyingly but I liked it enough to import the US one and I do think that looks nicer than the...

The Netflix case is weird of it was there. Maybe they are labelling it as exclusive because of the second season? Unless it was there before, in which case who knows. As for Netflix... Anime shows up. "It's a Netflix's original!"

Anything they want? I mean when they own Crunchyroll, it's still an "exclusive" on their platform even if it is on Crunchyroll because it's exclusive to their company.

Definitely going for Akito. Never saw it despite being in the Code Geass universe so it'll be completely new territory for me.

It is a bit of a shame as it locks them out of other arcs.

I remember watching season 3 and it was enjoyable. Never did see movie that followed though. Don't think it ever got a UK release.

That's why I never even bothered to watch season 2. And considering season 3 basically ignores its existence, along with the anime original stuff of season 1, I never needed to watch it either.

Perhaps what helps it is the resurgence in nostalgia as well as people getting interested in these older titles. Since we've had quite a few old series revived from the dead with these releases, those doing it at least know more confidently that there is a market for them alongside the new titles.

Ah, I see that now on the site. Thinking about it, I think I remember them doing this with season 2.

As much as physical media is dying, the collector's market is likely still strong with is probably what Future Boy is aimed at. It won't make massive sales most likely because it's not mainstream, but it knows its market and knows that same market like owning physical goods.

Danmachi season 3 as a standard release? Guess season 2 didn't sell that well. That's a shame.

And here I was worried and bought the JP version... And yet I know I'll be pulled into this rabbit hole and buy this version too, since there's no guarantee the UK will get a limited edition. If I wasn't a massive fan of Bedivere and this singularity... Well at least I can now get a version with...

The latter I fear is unlikely. As much as I enjoyed it, it isn't a popular or well known series like Haruhi is. The former has brand recognition at a worst case. It's why I imported Tokyo Ravens back when I had the chance from the US. Wanted the series and the limited edition of it since I...

What would inflate it? And didn't people say that the UK version was more expensive than the Italy version or something? It's like each announcement increases the price a chunk.

Same. I'd gotten it at what ended up being close to half the price it ended up going for.
