I have a Sentai order just shipped to stackry, with a premium edition in, the previous Sentai parcel will be with me later today, so no idea what the packaging is like, other than the picture Stackry sent when they received it. It looks no different to Crunchy roll packaging.
I got a multi region BD, too late to get some of the titles I wanted, NISA titles mostly, that have since gone OOP, still glad I picked up Working! season 2
It works fine on standard BD players, so it should work on your PS3 without issue, the main reason it states geolocked is because it's tricky to know for sure if it's that or region free, so we tend to air on the side of caution.
Officially they still region lock discs, licensing usually...
Here's a strange one, when purchasing an LG BD player a few years ago I tried the only Sentai release I owned which wouldn't play on my old Panasonic player, to my surprise no luck, had to alter the country cade from Germany, to US to get it work.
In fairness,
look at their Inu yasha release, just how long does it take to release an old series .
I will not buy until it is fully released, I got fed up when Twin star exorcists took an age to finish.
Finally buckled and did a Sentai order.
