The €22 listing is the regular Amaray case. The listing corresponds with the Amaray case EAN code 5060314997804
The only difference between the German, Italian, French steelbooks are the disc print and O-ring design. Went for the German release because I prefer not to have any Nicky Larson...
I've received the German City Hunter Angel Dust steelbook. It has English subtitles. Anime Ltd. logo is shown (no red panda intro) when English is selected in the boot up menu. I've written more information in this post: Blu-ray Forum - View Single Post - Discotek to Release All of City Hunter...
The Streamline dub track on the Funimation release has quality issues. Right before some of the reel changes, they briefly switch over to a mono source that I assume runs slightly longer, which lets them patch the gap between the reels. However, the gaps can be easily patched with other higher...
Nothing yet. The season 2 dub has not been released yet on CR. If you don't need the dub, you may want to consider the Japanese volumes with English subs. Got a used set of season 2 recently for around 7000 yen before shipping from Mandarake.
City Hunter: Angel Dust German Collector's Edition specs:

The upcoming German KSM release of Tekkonkinkreet has English/French dub+sub according to the listing on Plaion's site. The UK release details will probably be revealed soon...
correction: Kaboom Anime is an event organized by the Kaboom Animation Film Festival which is the successor to KLIK! and HAFF. These two festivals were around for a long time.
Good to know that I can see GE999 in Amsterdam or Utrecht. A few weeks ago I only saw a listing for Groningen.
It was worth it to me for the original voice actor performances, but it's also a lot of money. In your case the original performances are also covered by the Bandai DVD which I don't have.
Extras and the Mayflower in Space OVAs are not subtitled unfortunately. The UCL set has more extras, but...
Tons of banding and artifacting in darker colors. 0083 happens to be dark, so it's a big problem there. The encoding issues and lack of the original Japanese version (I hate the 5.1 redub) were bad enough that I imported the U.C. Libraries release of 0083. I've only checked the first episode of...
The US release of 08th MS Team has a very poor encode just like 0083. If you don't want to wait for a UK release, pick the Japanese U.C. Blu-ray Libraries release with English subs.
I'm still holding out for a UK release of 08th MS Team, but if they use the US discs, I'll import the JP release .
Those complaints on Trustpilot are from people who backed projects where the creator failed to deliver. Check the Trustpilot of Kickstarter; same thing. Trustpilot is not very reliable imo.
Tanuko will be offering an alternative method "soon"
