Got a new High Sierra bag in the post today. Not exactly the most glamorous get but it's important for work and I have brought so many pins at conventions that it's nice to have something to stick them on.
I’m hoping to travel more this year. To meet new people and go new places. If I can go to a convention or event every month then it would be a good start. Trouble is that part to me wants to go to Dokomi in Germany but I have a really bad fear of flying. So that might be too big a leap too fast...
Finished Trigun Stampede.
As a Trigun super-fan I have complicated feelings on this one. Partly because you can see so many tiny things that prove the people making this new adaptation are also Trigun super-fans. They have announced a continuation and I'm interested to see how it shapes up...
Got a set of metal bookends from Amazon. They are luckily the right size for Blu-Ray cases and DVDs. Which means my media shelf is slightly more organised. A small step towards better organisation, a clearer space and a collection that is easy to love.
Fantastic. I really love Blood Blockade so it finally being available to a wider audience again is delightful. Hopefully this means Dark Horse will release the second series. Because that already ended and was also just 10 volumes.
My missing order form the Anime Limited Christmas sale arrived. They got it sorted pretty quickly when I let them know it hadn't shipped so that's nice. This includes The Skull Man, Venus Verus Virus, Anti-Magic Academy: The 35th Test Platoon, Lupin the Third Part 5 and Gundam Seed Stargazer...
Finally started Persona 3 Reload after buying it months ago. I have already played a previous version so I have set it to Merciless difficulty. This has led to many defeats and much lost progress but that's mainly because of poor planning, ignoring better equipment that is available and biting...
Does anyone have any opinions on Is It Wrong To Try To Pick Up Girls In A Dungeon? Not the activity, the series named that. Because I've never seen it but it's been going for 5 seasons and has a spin-off called Sword Oratoria. Are either of these worth trying out?
Ordered both of the Blu-Ray Christmas Mystery Bundles on MVM's Christmas Sale and Flip Flappers Collectors Edition. Hopefully there's stuff in these I haven't brought on a Deal of the Week before.
Should I buy a 5th copy of The Woman Called Fujiko Mine? Is owning 5 copies of the same anime any more ridiculous than owning 4?
Gunbuster at £10 and all of Cardcaptor Sakura for £20 is an insanely good deal. I've heard Liz and The Blue Bird was good and I'd like to check out Digimon DALEK...
Looking forward to Eminem in Shadow, people were very positive about it when it was airing.
I also recently did a read-through of my Anime Limited order history over the years. It seems after buying up most of the Gundam I slowed down a lot. Hopefully the Christmas sale re-releases some stuff...
Tetsuo II: Body Hammer (1992)
1989's Tetsuo: The Iron Man is one of these underdog success stories fit for the movies: A struggling artist quits his office job, burns through his savings, destroys friendships and fights his disapproving dad until finally his passion project releases to national...
The zine is called Vampires Vestige digital zine if you are interested. There is a print edition with extra goodies but it is from America so the postage cost is high. So I went with the digital version instead.
@Shadow Cat great find! I was also looking at My Hero Academia figures recently...
