I just realised Valkyrie Drive Mermaid is a Kadokawa title.....it's not gonna have the mini OAV episodes then (same thing happened with Maken-Ki Two)

Seems likely, though I'm never sure if it's just Funimation being useless at licencing

From what I remember Kadokawa refused to let Funimation have them for MK2, and given a similar thing happened with AoA/AL with DRR2, Animatsu with Beyond The Boundry and Media Blasters with Juden Chan (well for the original DVD release, not sure of the recent dubbed DVD/BD release though) I'm thinking japanese licensors witholding OAV episodes is going to be a common thing now, I could be wrong though. And granted the mini OAV episodes for MK2 were just an excuse to show extended fanservice scenes with the female characters but you have to admit Funi's release still feels a bit incomplete without them

Oh awesome!, I just added that to my buy list. Especially since I doubt it will get a UK release (let's just say some of the mini OAVs might give the BBFC a hard time)

I dunno, anything that potentially wouldn't pass the BBFC automatically means I at least have to try and see what's in it.

I'm glad you agree. I'm still outraged the UK version of the second movie cuts out some of the most enjoyable parts.

The US are getting Digimon Adventure Tri, subbed and dubbed...

It's almost as if they planned it out without wildly assuming a dub would apper out of thin air or sommit.

When I spoke to Andrew back at MCM, he said it was King Records holding the license from everyone.
