Mazinkaiser is the most interesting there, as far as I'm concerned :]

Mazinkaiser is good old fashioned Super Robot fun. It's better than what I've seen of the new Mazinger series anyway...

Also, uninspiring cover art is uninspiring. Only Samurai 7 and Claymore's covers look exceptional, which I'm not going to complain about as those are the only ones I'm likely to buy.

Is Claymore any good? Might pick it up being a 2-disc set.

C'mon, Papillon in his mask looks incredible on the Busou Renkin cover even if the actual series isn't

I always thought Desert Punk's covers looked very drab. Its content doesn't seem to distill into awesome pictures very well, especially if it's competing with the gorgeous Samurai 7 artwork.

Have ordered Claymore and Samurai 7 ,that's it for me.

Helpful tip anyone interested in Buso Renkin. Don't have any interest in Buso Renkin. See that butterfly guy on the cover? Well he's one of the main villains and spends a lot of time dancing around in a thong. Pretty scary stuff.

Yup. This is why I loved the film poster spoofs on the Japanese covers, guess they weren't allowed to use them over here? (despite including them in a picture book with the US tin boxset...?)

Received Disgaea yesterday, Claymore is in the post, and I received Slayers Next volume 2 last month. That’s my lot for this week.

I'll get claymore, shana and possibly mazinkaizer.

I'm buying MazinKaiser, Go Nagai is a GOD. If you buy Buso Renkin, you'll get no sympathy from me.

Samurai 7 is rather ****. I've owned volumes 1-7 for awhile now and still haven't made it past the first volume. I recommend you just watched the 1950's film instead - it's a lot faster paced and isn't anywhere near as dumb.

After checking my emails, I've discovered my Claymore set was sent on the 4th for £8.99. Yay for me pre-ordering both volume 1 of Claymore and DtB back when HMV had them listed for £8.99.

btw that claymore trailer is clearly fake

There isn't a better example of a pure kick ass title than Shadow Skill, but only if its the uncut OVA, and not the sliced and diced movie.

It's actually the 26 ep series

Buso Renkin set is a maybe but my eyes are set on the Mazinkaiser collection
