Now that the unspoken has stopped distributing for free, have you started paying Crunchyroll to get your weekly fix? Or are you really cheap and found other places to get it for free?

(I won't be taking part because I don't watch it (or anything for that matter)).

You can watch it on crunchyroll a week later can't you?
Yeah, that's what I thought. I don't watch it, but I imagine I'd just wait a week. I've had a look at the trailers, or whatever, and they generally seem pretty decent; quality-wise.

strange, must just be Virigin :/

tbh though i still watch it for free, however it's mainly down to the video quality rather than the hate of paying for it

Sure it's good quality, but unfortuantly still nothing near the high def fansubs u can get.

And to be fair to the fansubbers, seeing how Viz and co said a certain subber dropping out would hurt the fansub comunity, from what i've seen, it's actually gotten stronger.

Sounds kinda stupid from what I've heard; Their audience is set at people who watched up to the episodes they are streaming now? That means, their target audience to sell too is people who have already illegally watched the fansubs; I can't imagine any naruto:shippuden fansub watcher/downloader to suddenly start paying for the same service they were getting a week ago for free.

I wasn't watching it before and am not starting now. So I'll abstain.

I tried watching Gintama on Crunchyroll but I didn't like it and couldn't even get 10 minutes in. I just don't enjoy watching remote anime on my computer like that.

I stopped watching when it changed over, the qualities been steadily downhill since the start so I figured I'd just let it go and move on. I might check it out though if Manga do generous releases of it, I'm still collecting the original series.

Not particularly interested in the series, but WRT the general idea I don't imagine I'd pay just to watch streaming video. I would pay to download episodes through iTunes or the like.

However, I'll never pay Crunchyroll to watch anything. I don't want a percentage of my purchase to go to people who got rich by being thieves. This interview told me all I needed to know about their particular exploitative (of creators, fansubbers and fans) style of business.

/rant. I just can't stand to see people do well through illicit means.

Insightful information that sends out just the worse message possible :(
I've used crunchyroll before, but never had any idea that's what was going on behind the scenes.
