Is anyone getting or interested in this game? Since the demo came out I've played it for at least 10 hours or so, it's fun as hell, plus playing with friends is even more entertaining. It's what Resident Evil wishes it was when it turned bad action movie-esque.

Discuss!

Also, I use Zoey the most btw, and I'll be getting it on 360.
 
I've actually thought about getting it, not looked into the demo however, but the fact that gameplay changes on how you play and so on does interest me for sure. I may download the demo first at some point to get a better idea but i think i may pick this one up.
 
I actually like how the game plays. I'm not really a 'big fan' of Zombie games, but its tempting me to buy it with my 360 for the season of Christmas. The director is quite revolutionary and get 'pissed' off if you're taking your time...

I've heard a lot of good things and it got my attention when it was first announced. Probably get it for 360 though, rarely play PC games nowadays. Though i was a bit disappointed in learning that they were the fast moving kind of zombie and not the traditional Romero type zombie. On thinking about though it if i was playing as the zombie it would suck having to walk slow and not being able to give chase :P
 
I'm thinking about it. I've not played the demo, but from what I hear there are only four scenarios and they don't last a particularly long time.

Most of my [questionably reliable] sources all claim the game can be beaten within 10 hours, but that isn't taking into account the supposedly outstanding replay value.

No doubt there will be map packs in the future though.
 
I have the game on PC and it is awesome!! There are 5 movie story lines to play with 20 Levels. Plus the scenerios are limitless as zombies are never (to some extent) in the same places. Plus if you've played alot, the computer makes it harder for you by releasing bigger or more enemies into the game. It can get pritty stupid with the ammount of things attacking you but I love it.
Gives spray and pray a hole new meaning :P
 
A zombie game that actually looks fun for once (I'm looking at you, Dead Rising)! The demo is quite fun. Only played it once but I'll be getting it with my Christmas money methinks.
 
As enthusiastic as I am about Valve games, I'm not a Zombie movie fan and in a crowded season, after only having just got a new PC with many other games to play and many great multiplayer titles untapped (I still think I have many weeks of Team Fortress 2 playtime in me), I've decided to not get Left 4 Dead. May get it sometime in the future, but for now, it's just honestly not my cup of tea.

It's not that it's not good, but from what I played it just wasn't that fun for me. It's a solid game, but it wasn't for me.
 
Oh, ok fair enough then.

Also, from my experience, the demo was a little less-forgiving, not randomly giving you items and crap along the way, but the difficulty on both is the same. Just completed No Mercy on Advance after 2 and a half hours and thirteen retries I finally did it, my experience copied from an MSN conversation:

During my time off from work, I managed to complete "No Mercy" on Expert!! Took us four and a half hours. Played it threw with three others online. Three of us managed to get to the chopper but the last lad got owned by a Tank running up the ramp. He was not impressed.
Been trying to complete Death Toll next but it's just sooo hard!! O_O
 
The game is absolute ******** on Expert, it throws EVERYTHING at you and doesn't give you time to recover, truly pushing to you to the edge and making you rage. Me and my team did Death Toll on Advanced and I sacrificed myself for them to live. Good times.
 
AAAgghhhh!!! Nearly completed Death Toll on Expert but got beated by TWO Tanks right near the end! First one took out two of my team mates and second one (appeared littraly straight away) took me and the other lad out. WE HAD NO AMMO!! I raged! >_<
