From the point of view of a complete Naruto newbie (I have a vague recollection of seeing ep #1 on fansubs ages ago but that's it) the first few eps are helluva lot of fun and are presented really well. The subs read fine and the packaging is really nice too: the standard keepcase in cardboard sleeve that's typical of Manga Ent's stuff, with all three discs stacked up on the same button thingy. Kind on shelf space indeed. Smile
I dunno, A brick like the Tenchi Myou boxset would have not have been missed.

Why on earth would people want huge boxes taking up their shelf space rather than a neat little normal sized DVD case goes beyond me.

Maybe they believe the old saying of big being better?

I think they look nicer. And make them feel more boxset-y. And special. If you're getting me.

Got mine today, and I have to say I LOVE how it's just in a standard-size DVD box.

I'm always kinda reluctant to buy boxsets online, because they usually don't fit through the letterbox, so I have to make a journey to the sorting office if it was delivered when I was out, which is kinda inconvenient...but this just popped nicely through the door. Very Happy

Possibly a daft question, but is there any way to watch the "RISE~!" dub opening? :$
