Begining,middle or end

In any anime series what do you prefer more.

The beginning-discovering new chacters setting everything in motion who the villain(if there is one) maybe and what started everything of.

Middle-Trying to get down the problem trying to find the evil dude and so on.

end-resolving most questions beating the bad dude and rounding it all of.

I like the beginning of any anime best since i find they tend to be the funniest and new chacters the middle i find it drags on a little and come the end if it's good i want more so i dislike endings 8)

i don't really mind, with some i like the entire thing, start to finish..some i like the beginning more, some the middle and then some the end. Basically it depends on the anime for me.

Depends on the anime, for example i loved every minute of Tenchi Muyo and Hanbun. But i enjoyed the begining and middle of Elfen Lied as the end was a let down, same with Love Hina etc.

It depends really on the anime/manga...
The beginnings are usually the most common times for comedy things, as the story starts to develop mid-way and they may have other themes for the characters to deal with. So otherwords, it's describing the character before the story.

Mid-story (as mentioned) becomes more important than the character building and comedy (although it may pop-up to keep it fresh.) This is when it gets intresting on a more serious note.

As for the end, it's always about the audience going "Oh! I see!" or "What the... Oh my gawd!" If it doesn't have the shock value, it may be a weak ending (in my view.)

I usually like the mid-end... Where it's still asking loads of questions about the story, but there's chances of guessing the ending. So at the end you can say whether you were right or not.
This is based on what I think a typical anime, most likely with fantasy elements, would work to. E.g. Fullmetal Alchemist.

Depends how the series is going really,

Beginning - I love discovering the characters learning who they are as long as they have decent stories.

Middle - Seeing them grow is awesome like in Bleach whwere Ichigo gets his Bankai or Naruto leans Rasingan, those are brilliant moments.

End - I kinda dread the ends of series, some I am glad to see them over especially if the hero/heroine team up and 'get it on' thats always a happy moment, but other longer series are sad when they end, like I always feel down when I finish a Tenchi Muyo series. I know I'll be disappointed when Bleach/Naruto/Initial D finally end.

I prefer the middle of a series to be honest, as you're already acquainted with the characters etc, and by then you feel you can relate to it more.. or something.

I'm with the others to be honest, It depends on the anime.

But what I will say is for me endings can be bittersweet, I finally get the final resolution and find out what everything was about, but then the series is over and there's no more of it which makes me sad. :(

Ive got to say the middle because I hate it when you dedicate yourself to a series and they ruin the end.

Ruin it by ending the series without any extra episodes, or ending it with a plain crappy ending?

I don't think by ending the series after a set amount of episodes qualifies as ruining it.

It does if it's a series you love and they don't make any more. :p

True, but I always think theres always another series which will satisfy what you loved about the series you just finished.

For example when Outlaw Star ended, it sucked ass :( but then I found Bebop :D
