I'm looking for an anime

I'm not sure if this is the right forum to post this in but it seemed to be the most appropriate - I'm sorry if its not.

I found a picture of an anime and I'm trying to find the name of the anime. From the picture I thought I might like the anime so wanted to find out more about it. The picture can be found at

By the way I contacted the person who posted it there and he doesnt know the anime - thats why he posted it in the misc section of the site.

It's most likely not an anime, just some artist drawn it in anime style. Making their own characters and such.
 
I was hoping I wouldnt be just a picture. It is on a site that does wallpapers of animes so I thought theres a good possibility that it is an anime. Unknown_scar were you talking about the picture or about battle royal.

He's talking about Battle Royale, which is available as a movie, manga and a novel but not in anime form. It could very easily be fan art of Battle Royale.

One way of identifying what that picture depicts may be to ask the artist themselves. From what I noticed there is an option to private message the artists who post the pictures.
 
Considering the style, it sorta looks like it could be from a computer game - although I've no idea which one. Have you tried the ANN forums?

I'll second Ramadahl and say that the art style looks like a screen still from a video game of some kind. I have no idea what game though if thats the case.
 
I'll give ANN a go. I've been told by other people it maybe Battle Royal related - I tried to find AMV's of it so I could check but couldn't find any
