"The combined 42nd/23rd issue of Kodansha's Weekly Shonen Magazine is announcing on Wednesday that CLAMP will end the Tsubasa, RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE manga in the next issue on September 30. The regular and deluxe editions for the 28th and final compiled Tsubasa book volume, as well as the second original art collection for the series, will ship simultaneously on November 17. Along with xxxHOLiC, CLAMP has been drawing Tsubasa since 2003. Del Rey publishes both manga in North America; it will ship the 23rd and 24th volumes of Tsubasa next month."

Honestly, I don't want more Sakura.
The characters are good and all, but a movie or an OVA would be better than a whole new series. I think that both manga and the anime ended very well (althought the anime needs the last sealed card movie to sum things up).
Maybe something with Shaoran and Sakura as adults? Because Tsubasa feels like they tried to have a series with them like teenagers or at least that's the feel I get from them there.

could always make the series about Shaoran and Sakura's daughter

lets face it, she'll need to pass the torch sometime

How about an actual new series instead.

A spanner in that though Ryo Chan.
If Sakura is (or is likely to be) as powerful as Clow Reed, then very likely she will live for a very long time. Hopefully Syaoran as well. Smile

It would be very far into the future before she hands over the reigns.

Tsubasa is ending? Wow. I thought this day would never come. I stopped reading a while ago because, well, I just didn't know what was going on any more. @_@ I may pick it up again though, since I would really like to see how it all ends. I followed it for a long time...

CLAMP just ended their fan-service series. No need for another series to make fangirls/fanboys squee with delight. Don't get me wrong, I really liked CCS, but it doesn't need a sequel.

if anything they may explore a different genre altogether...though you say they finished a fan-serviced series, what would that be?
