I love that little series. But obviously that means I already have this DotW. I did also pick up the individual JP discs with their prints of character clothing on the transparent outers. But I need a CE. 😞

I looked earlier and it hadn’t updated, so I assumed they were doing the ‘no DOTW while there’s a sale promotion’ thing.

Mine was waiting for me when I got back today. The last ones were progressively more expedited too (the polar opposite to AtA!) I’ve no idea what it is, but that’s why I ordered it.

They had a DOTW for the standard edition a few weeks back. Much as I like CEs, I can’t say that an art box and art cards are worth £15 (or more after EB). That said; I’ve never seen the series, so my expectations are based on the description of Bebop samurai set to bad-guy music. I don’t know...

I have to ask; what’s the (A) next to To Love Ru (instead of the expected format+region)? Australia? Or one of the ‘it’s official, with hologram!’ Asian DVDs? Or if it’s BR Region A, is that from the US with English subs etc? And because I’m a sucker for BR CEs, how much are you asking for the...

The series full of sunshine and flowers. 😶 It is one of those essential ‘crafted and structured fable’ types that I do particularly like, but I’ve already got it twice over - otherwise I’d buy it again.

They do have a bit of small print about ‘must have accepts marketing turned on’ with each discount email they send out, so I assume there’s a setting in peoples accounts somewhere that might be worth toggling?

I can certainly say that it’s been a minimum of £50 for at least a couple of years now, for any sale (Xmas, spring, summer…) - for the standard newsletter codes. (un)limited OTOH has never had a minimum spend for the 15% Its not normally a problem for me, as I tend to just dump half the sale...

I’m assuming the (Lupin6) listing that popped up on MVMs site for £31.49 is the standard edition, with a release date of 1 week later than AtA.

I thought they were supposed to be going back to digipaks? What happened to that? Still the best option IMHO. That said; I would appreciate the extra efficiency of thinner cases when they’re in an outer box (plus booklet and such): A 15mm Amaray holding just a disc or two doesn’t really add any...

For the last month-and-a-bit, the checkout at MVM just gives an error for me when doing the ‘contacting card provider’ thing: I can get it to work if I use a somewhat more obscure older browser (that lets me spoof the user agent), which has the added bonus of not actually doing that ‘security...

Can’t say I see any difference in the products or categories on the Zavvi site. If I hadn’t known to look, I wouldn’t have noticed it now states ‘Zavvi group’ instead of ‘the hut group’. Perhaps I should just be optimistic that they’re free to improve?
